Solutions · For Internal Knowledge

Company knowledge that never goes on vacation.

Meet Butler, your company’s own assistant. It reads what your company knows, understands it, and asks your people when something is missing. Employees ask in Slack, a web chat or email, and get an answer, not a list of search results.

“No, it’s $250 a night now. Two documents disagreed, so I checked with Lucas in Finance instead of guessing. Everyone who asks will now get the right answer.”

When Butler isn’t sure, it asks. Then it remembers the answer for everyone.

The difference

Ask Butler. Get an answer.

Search finds documents. Butler understands what they say, notices when they disagree, and remembers what your people tell it. Every question makes the next answer better.

From a pilot

No more chasing people for answers.

A 200-person SaaS company connected Butler to Jira, Confluence, Slack, Intercom, Google Drive and its library of skills and prompts. One week to set up, then three weeks of adding more data.

Instead of chasing people across product, engineering, ops and support, employees asked Butler. When it couldn’t answer, it asked in a dedicated Slack channel, and the people there taught it. Every answer they gave made the next one better.

Experience Core: who’s asking

One question. The right answer for each person.

Experience Core remembers each employee: their role, what they’re working on, and how they like answers. An engineer and a salesperson asking the same thing each get the answer they need.

Adaptive Style is included. Text only, one person at a time, and anyone can opt out.

See it, tune it

Everything it knows, visible and editable.

Butler remembers each employee’s role, projects and how they like answers, so nobody has to explain themselves twice. Everyone can see what it knows about them.

Employees can correct what Butler knows about them, and managers can add notes. Personal details are redacted before storage, and memory never trains anyone’s model.

FAQ

Questions about Butler.

Who is it for?

Companies whose knowledge is spread across documents, chats and people’s heads, and teams tired of answering the same questions.

Where do employees use it?

In Slack, in a web chat, or by email. Butler answers wherever your people already work.

What does it connect to?

Google Drive, Gmail, Notion, Confluence, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Linear and Intercom, plus uploads of any text document. It reads only what you allow.

Who can see what?

You decide what Butler can answer for whom, using your Google Groups: engineering, executives, ops and so on. If someone asks about something outside their access, Butler tells them it can’t answer that for them.

What if it doesn’t know the answer?

It doesn’t guess. It asks the person who knows, following your settings, and remembers the answer for everyone.

How does it stay current?

Every day it checks what changed and decides whether it matters. Outdated facts are replaced automatically.

What about personal data?

Personal data is redacted before anything is stored, and Butler only answers within each person’s access. Memory is encrypted, kept separate from every other client’s, and never trains anyone’s model.

Does it work with any model?

Yes, with no retraining. Switch models, and everything Butler has learned stays.

What’s included?

The internal knowledge setup includes Experience Core, with Adaptive Style, and Knowledge Base. RealDNA is available as an add-on.
