Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect personal information on the RealMemory website. We don’t sell it.
Last updated: October 18, 2026 · privacy@realmemory.ai
This Privacy Policy explains how Real Memory AI, Inc. (“RealMemory,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit realmemory.ai or any other website of ours that links to this policy (the “Site”), request access, contact us, or book a call with us.
The short version: we collect what you give us and basic information about how the Site is used. We use it to respond to you, run and improve the Site, and keep it secure. We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic. We don’t sell your personal information.
1. Who this policy covers
RealMemory is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This policy does not cover information we process for our customers through our products and services. If you are a user of a company that uses RealMemory, see section 6. In this policy, the “Site” means our websites; the Lab Playground is covered separately in section 7.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us.
- When you request access or join us: your name, work email, company, role, and anything you choose to tell us about what you’re building.
- When you email us: your email address, name, and the contents of your message.
- When you book a call: your name, email, the time you choose, and anything you share when booking. Calls are scheduled through Calendly.
- When you apply for a role: the information in your application, such as your resume and contact details.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4) and through the logs of our hosting and security providers.
Information from others. If someone introduces you to us, we receive the information they share, such as your name and email address.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your messages and requests;
- review requests for access and invite people to our products;
- schedule and hold calls;
- send you updates about RealMemory if you joined or asked to hear from us (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails);
- operate, maintain, and secure the Site, and detect and prevent abuse;
- understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it;
- review job applications;
- comply with the law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not use personal information collected through the Site to train artificial intelligence models.
4. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies, which our hosting and security providers need to deliver the Site and protect it from attacks.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics, which tell us how many people visit the Site, which pages they view, and how they arrived. Google processes this information on our behalf. You can learn how Google uses it at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your activity on the Site for targeted advertising.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. If you visit from the European Union or the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.
Do Not Track. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, so the Site does not currently respond to them.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, under contracts that limit how they can use the information. These include website hosting (Webflow), security and content delivery (Cloudflare), analytics (Google Analytics), email and productivity (Google Workspace), and scheduling (Calendly).
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of RealMemory, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. If you use a product built on RealMemory
Companies use RealMemory to give their AI agents memory. When we process information about the users of those companies, we do so on behalf of that company and according to its instructions, under our agreement with it. In that case, the company’s own privacy policy governs how your information is handled, and this policy does not apply.
If you have questions or want to exercise your privacy rights for that information, please contact the company you deal with. If you contact us instead, we will refer your request to that company or help it respond.
7. The Lab Playground
The Lab Playground at lab.realmemory.app (the “Playground”) lets anyone try our products. This section explains how we handle personal information there.
- What we collect: basic profile information from your Google account when you sign in, such as your name and email address; what you type into the Playground and the responses it generates; and how much you use each product, so we can apply daily limits.
- How we use it: to sign you in, run the demos, apply daily request limits, prevent abuse, and respond when you contact support.
- Who processes it: our service providers, including the third-party AI model providers that help generate responses, under contracts that limit how they can use the information.
- How long we keep it: until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time in the Playground, and all of your Playground data is deleted with it.
We recommend using made-up details in the Playground and not entering real personal, customer, or confidential information.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. For example:
- Access requests: until we invite you or you ask us to remove your request.
- Emails and call records: as long as they are relevant to our relationship with you, and as needed for legal and record-keeping purposes.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
- Security logs: for the limited periods our hosting and security providers set.
When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. To make a request, email privacy@realmemory.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
United States. Depending on where you live, such as California, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. These can include the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and to access, correct, or delete it. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
California “Shine the Light.” We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
11. Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom
If you are in the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom (UK), this section also applies to you. RealMemory is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
Legal bases. We process your personal information on these grounds:
- To take steps at your request, such as reviewing your request for access or scheduling a call.
- Our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving the Site, responding to inquiries, and communicating with business contacts, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Your consent, for analytics cookies and, where required, for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligations we must comply with.
Your rights. You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information; to restrict or object to its processing, including objecting at any time to direct marketing; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@realmemory.ai. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, or in the UK, to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
International transfers. RealMemory is based in the United States, and your information will be processed there. Where we transfer personal information from the EU or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or our service providers’ certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension.
12. Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide a notice on the Site.
